Efros, also known as Efros Delta, is the fourth planet in the Flarset system and homeworld of the humanoid [[Efrosian]]s, a member of the United Federation of Planets.

Efros Delta's climate is arctic, with planet-wide snow and ice storms occurring during all seasons. The planet is in the final stages of a prolonged Ice Age, and as a result, the sea levels are rising and the temperate zone straddling the equator is slowly expanding.

The average maximum/minimum temperatures in the habitable temperate zone vary between coastal climates with milder, longer summers and regular precipitation and the more arid, sub-arctic climate of the inner continents.

This most densely populated region is heavily forested and enjoys pleasant springs and crisp autumns.

Turmoil leads the Crazy Horse to the safety of Earth orbit. As engineering teams scurry to survey and repair the ship's damage the crew disembarks to Earth for rest and safety. After recent events Commander [[Zivit Agron]] is relieved of Command only to be replaced by a mysterious [[Khiy Kanryth|young Captain]] whose redacted personnel record could fit on the palm of a hand.

Unbeknownst to the crew local events will soon grow to into a tempest as discord flows along the solar winds towards Earth. News arrives that the Romulan Praetor is headed to Earth for an important summit. Security teams hurry to make preparations while the Crazy Horse's new Captain is selected to play the role of host. Beneath the shadows things begin to stir- what wickedness follows in their midst?

Turmoil leads the Crazy Horse to the safety of Earth orbit. As engineering teams scurry to survey and repair the ship's damage the crew disembarks to Earth for rest and safety. After recent events Commander [[Zivit Agron]] is relieved of Command only to be replaced by a mysterious [[Khiy Kanryth|young Captain]] whose redacted personnel record could fit on the palm of a hand.

Unbeknownst to the crew local events will soon grow to into a tempest as discord flows along the solar winds towards Earth. News arrives that the Romulan Praetor is headed to Earth for an important summit. Security teams hurry to make preparations while the Crazy Horse's new Captain is selected to play the role of host. Beneath the shadows things begin to stir- what wickedness follows in their midst?

Turmoil leads the Crazy Horse to the safety of Earth orbit. As engineering teams scurry to survey and repair the ship's damage the crew disembarks to Earth for rest and safety. After recent events Commander [[Zivit Agron]] is relieved of Command only to be replaced by a mysterious [[Khiy Kanryth|young Captain]] whose redacted personnel record could fit on the palm of a hand.

Unbeknownst to the crew local events will soon grow to into a tempest as discord flows along the solar winds towards Earth. News arrives that the Romulan Praetor is headed to Earth for an important summit. Security teams hurry to make preparations while the Crazy Horse's new Captain is selected to play the role of host. Beneath the shadows things begin to stir- what wickedness follows in their midst?

Turmoil leads the Crazy Horse to the safety of Earth orbit. As engineering teams scurry to survey and repair the ship's damage the crew disembarks to Earth for rest and safety. After recent events Commander [[Zivit Agron]] is relieved of Command only to be replaced by a mysterious [[Khiy Kanryth|young Captain]] whose redacted personnel record could fit on the palm of a hand.

Unbeknownst to the crew local events will soon grow to into a tempest as discord flows along the solar winds towards Earth. News arrives that the Romulan Praetor is headed to Earth for an important summit. Security teams hurry to make preparations while the Crazy Horse's new Captain is selected to play the role of host. Beneath the shadows things begin to stir- what wickedness follows in their midst?

Turmoil leads the Crazy Horse to the safety of Earth orbit. As engineering teams scurry to survey and repair the ship's damage the crew disembarks to Earth for rest and safety. After recent events Commander [[Zivit Agron]] is relieved of Command only to be replaced by a mysterious young Captain whose redacted personnel record coud fit on the palm of a hand.

Unbeknownst to the crew local events will soon grow to into a tempest as discord flows along the solar winds towards Earth. News arrives that the Romulan Praetor is headed to Earth for an important summit. Security teams hurry to make preparations while the Crazy Horse's new Captain is selected to play the role of host. Beneath the shadows things begin to stir- what wickedness follows in their midst?

Turmoil leads the Crazy Horse to the safety of Earth orbit. As engineering teams scurry to survey and repair the ship's damage the crew disembarks to Earth for rest and safety. After recent events Commander [[Zivit Agron]] is relieved of Command only to be replaced by a mysterious young Captain whose redacted personnel record coud fit on the palm of a hand.

Unbeknownst to the crew local events will soon grow to into a tempest as discord flows along the solar winds towards Earth. News arrives that the Romulan Praetor is headed to Earth for an important summit. Security teams hurry to make preparations while the Crazy Horse's new Captain is selected to play the role of host. Beneath the shadows things begin to stir- what wickedness follows in their midst?

== History ==

The Evekh took its name from an early Vulcan ancestor when they left the [[House Yehenik]] to follow S'Task and his Declared to a new world. On ch'Rihan, they followed the Khelliana clan south and while exploring found the Firefalls of Gal Gath'thong. Deeply touched by the majesty and power of that forbidding land, the Evekh claimed it as their own and remained ever since.

Their history is as turbulent as the Empire itself. They have fended off every attack on them due to their fierce resistance but also because the land itself is so rocky and formidable that invaders must be willing to pay a punishing price and the lack of obvious resources or wealth in the land hardly makes it worth it. Yet the Evekh claw out a living, using its natural geothermal properties for power generation and it's perpetual lava flows to heat their forges.

For all their brute strength, they are shocking artisans. Besides their weaponry and metal-work, they also are glass-blowers, sculptors - particularly from "stringing" lava itself. Prized almost as highly as their swords is their blackglass: rock blasted in volcanic heat into shiny smooth obsidian from which they make dishware, ceremonial objects that are wholly unique because of a fiercely-protected family secret technique called "fire-veining". They learned how to etch patterns just below the glassy surface in what almost looks like the veins in marble.

==Biography==

Born on the USS Bellerophon to Science Officer T’Sora and renowned Botanist Rel Tyrax, Sakarra spent the first years of her life either traveling on board or causing mischief on the family estate on Vulcan, aided in no small part by her cousin and lifelong friend [[T'Para]].
While said estate is home to several dozen Vulcans of all ages at any given time, it was the two girls that the resident Sehlat [[Warya]] became most attached to, just as T’Para whose father was killed in the Dominion War grew a strong bond with her Betazoid uncle Rel.

Sakarra accompanied her father on several trips to [[Betazed]] which was still recovering from the devastating occupation and developed a great affection for both the planet and its inhabitants, not to mention the cheerful and exuberant family which doted on the ‘wild child’.
Gentle and good-humored by nature, Rel Tyrax never scorned his little one for her tendency to wander off and get involved in all sorts of trouble (or as her mother used to put it “reckless behavior”) and always patiently tended to the inevitable bumps and bruises.

Shortly before her twelfth birthday, Sakarra’s father was asked to return to Betazed and teach at the university. The family relocated to the Lady Lhorexa’s house near the Alarmante Sea. Interrupted only by trips accompanying her mother with Starfleet, or her father on research expeditions, Sakarra led a life surrounded by a large family and their numerous friends, free to roam the vast gardens of [[Betazed]].

Telepathic by virtue of both parents and instructed in the Vulcan mind disciplines by her mother, Sakarra’s empathic heritage never asserted itself except for a few vague and unfocused impressions. Hardly unexpected, this fact has led to some minor turbulences on a planet inhabited by empaths, resulting in Sakarra becoming an astute observer of body language to compensate for the inability to sense emotional states.

In accordance with her inquisitive and – in her grandmother’s words – “Hare-brained scared of nothing but luckier than a green fogcat” nature, Sakarra decided to go for a swim during one of Betazed’s famous spring storms and nearly drowned as a result at the age of fourteen. Rather than retain a healthy fear of water from now on she took up surfing instead and has caused many grey hairs in her family by diving into any available body of water, if necessary from a cliff.

Another source of the mentioned grey hair has always been the fact that from an early age on she was attracted to vehicles that move fast. Very fast. If they fly, all the better.

This preference at least was channeled into something productive (if one can call fighter jocks productive) when Sakarra attended flight school and earned her qualification as a fighter pilot.
Having attracted the attention of [[Moshe Astrun]] who was at the time assembling a squadron for Betazed’s small planetary defense force at Arandel, she agreed to join [["Jewel Three"]] and was taken under the proverbial wing of veteran pilot [[Sirta]] “SnowFox” Kaleth. The origin of Sakarra’s callsign “Sehlat” is still debated, but common consensus on Arandel holds there is a connection to several trees having been leveled during a rather enthusiastic take-off.

Determined to put her extensive knowledge of plants and her deep appreciation for all things growing to good use, Sakarra enrolled at the University of Betazed in 2396 to study botany; however at the outbreak of the Federation/Romulan war in 2398 she was recalled to full duty on Arandel.
Even after the news that her mother’s ship had been lost with all hands during the battle over 40 Eridani reached [[Betazed]] she remained with the squadron, but handed in her resignation the day after the signing of the peace treaty on board the USS Bismarck ended the war.
A few weeks later, Sakarra departed for Vulcan.

==Years on Vulcan==

There are few records pertaining to Sakarra’s time with her mother’s family, partly because Vulcans consider “family matters” private, partly because she herself rarely discusses the subject.

Available information of the Vulcan registries indicates that she spent time at Shi'Kahr Academy and was admitted to the [[Gol#Institute of Defensive Arts|Vulcan Institute of Defensive Arts]] under the tutelage of her relative [[Sovar]] ([[V’Shar]] tra-lan).

Sakarra earned qualification to pilot the newly redesigned D’Vahl type fighter in 2402. It is likely she was directly involved in the development of the D'Vahl and has been one of the first test pilots flying it, however no confirmation regarding this is available. While a Sakarra is listed in the files of the [[Shi'Kahr#High Command|High Command]] (Administration office of the Vulcan Defense Forces), such files are not available to the general publlic.

== Starfleet ==

Sakarra returned to [[Betazed]] for a short time before joining Starfleet, a choice that was supported by both sides of her family, even though many had hoped she might choose the field of science rather than go off flying starships around the galaxy.

Her Academy years were mostly uneventful, earning Sakarra the nickname "Bambi" from her classmates for her reclusive nature and her habit of being found in the Academy gardens more often than her own quarters.

Sakarra's first assignment led her to the [[USS Charon]] - intrigued by the prospect of venturing into unexplored space on a science vessel she had requested the post despite the somewhat unusual circumstances of the ship's mission - not the least of which was a [[Shiarrael t`Rehu|Romulan CO]].

===USS Charon===

Only one of barely a handful of other Vulcans on a ship that not only carries a considerable Romulan contingent but perhaps the widest variety of species found on any Starfleet vessel to date, Sakarra still settled into life on Charon with the quiet determination of her race (sometimes referred to as pointy eared stubbornness).
It was not until the Chief Helmsman was injured severely during a [[Castaway(Plot)|rescue mission]] that Sakarra had to abandon her preference for remaining the ‘wingman’ and become a de facto department head.

The following months proved no less turbulent with the discovery of [[Lyrila]] and a confrontation with rogue Romulan forces at the planet [[Ch'Dabhae]] near the Yy’a nebula; but after having worked with her Captain and having observed her in situations even a Vulcan would not hesitate to call extraordinary, Sakarra developed a grudging respect for her CO (who despite not being too fond of her ‘cousins’ came to at least find this one tolerable and even proceeded to name her Charon’s second officer).

The mutual regard between Sakarra and [[Shiarrael t`Rehu|Captain t`Rehu]] was put to the test when the arrival of [[T'Pelar|Vulcan council members]] led to the revelation of Charon’s true purpose on this mission – the retrieval of [[Temep`Shar]], a Vulcan prototype ship lost at the far reaches of Romulan space. Having decided that loyalty to one’s ship and Captain overrules any and all other concerns, Sakarra employed her usual straightforward manner in obtaining the truth and proof of the deception before presenting it to her CO.

Well, Starfleet Academy might have been satisfied with that pitiful excuse for a medical record but since I’ve known Miss Tyrax for quite a while I feel it necessary to add a few things. Deities forbid she gets herself into some kind of mess again and whatever doctor needs to patch her up has to work with, well, little more than nothing.

First of all, Miss Tyrax is basically equipped to survive in the thin atmosphere of a VERY hot planet and is prone to suffer from hypothermia if she’s not careful (which she rarely is. Careful I mean). On the other hand, she does have about 90% of an average Vulcan’s lung capacity and her blood chemistry (T-positive in case someone was wondering) is just as green (copper based) as her skin tone suggests. Add to that the famed Vulcan metabolism and you get a [[Betazoid]] who kicks like a mule and still keeps running when most other people have long since cried ‘uncle’. Or more to the point, a [[Vulcan (Species)|Vulcan]] wolf in Betazoid sheep’s clothing. This doctor also has a nagging suspicion that as this little wolf matures (considering her hybrid nature, that can be anywhere between her mid thirties to early forties), thus far dormant Vulcan attributes might assert themselves with a vengeance (should specific chemical imbalances occur, please refer to the appropriate files available to CMO’s or just find another Vulcan. They usually know what to do).

Anyways, all of this is not to say she’s not prone to overexert herself, medical officers please take note that Miss Tyrax is no exception to the rule that Vulcans make the worst patients ''ever''.

Speaking of metabolism, caffeine and sapotoxins have the expected effect on Miss Tyrax - meaning little to none - but alcohol in any form is generally a bad idea. Unless you need to redecorate the place anyways.
Which brings me to what is often referred to as ‘puzzle, wrapped in an enigma, housed in a cranium’. In this case, imagine a standard Vulcan brain (if there indeed is such a thing) with slightly elevated mesifrontal cortex activity and then toss in a paracortex that happily produces psilosynine as if it was working for a Betazoid. It is my guess that this incongruence is the cause of Miss Tyrax’s inability to really exercise her empathic abilities but that’d be a subject for a paper one day. Either way, as long as neurotransmitter levels don’t drop below Vulcan standard, she should be safe from lobotomizing herself.

P.S.: Miss Tyrax has an unfortunate tendency to neglect minor necessities like eating or sleeping when she finds it inconvenient - and she still has about the same social graces as duckweed when a doctor dares to try and convince her that both or either might be a good idea. The only advice I have for an unnerved medical officer - pizza. Tomato and lots of cheese.

Therefore I took the liberty of approaching secondary sources and have learned the following: She can be affable when she wants to be, even seems to be held in high regard by many of the crew. Even more surprising, the Charon's Romulan contingent appears to view her as not only a capable officer, but a tolerable Vulcan; and a passing pretty one, too. Rumors of a Romulan engineer with a crush on the Vulcan will need to be substantiated. Rumors that she's as oblivious as a Pyrithian bat are probably fact.

Research on [[Eris Deck]] has revealed the Vulcan likes [[Kal-toh|kal-toh]], [[Vulcan Spice Tea|spice tea]], and marines. According to Commander [[Robert Tisdale|Tisdale]] she's also a decent dancer, but I'd hesitate to call him a reliable source. More reliable is Miss Betty's assertion that Commander Sakarra has on rare occasions played the [[Ka'athyra|Vulcan lute]] in the rec room.

The Commander regularly logs time in the Charon's engineering department, a routine she has stuck to since her days as the ship's Chief Helm Officer, and has volunteered to play nurse for the marine [[Nikolai Chernienko]] - both of which is in character for a dedicated officer with no social life to speak of.

Gentle and good-humored by nature, Rel Tyrax never scorned his little one for her tendency to wander off and get involved in all sorts of trouble (or as her mother used to put it “reckless behavior”) and always patiently tended to the inevitable bumps and bruises.

Shortly before her twelfth birthday, Sakarra’s father was asked to return to Betazed and teach at the university. The family relocated to the Lady Lhorexa’s house near the Alarmante Sea. Interrupted only by trips accompanying her mother with Starfleet, or her father on research expeditions, Sakarra led a life surrounded by a large family and their numerous friends, free to roam the vast gardens of [[Betazed]].

Telepathic by virtue of both parents and instructed in the Vulcan mind disciplines by her mother, Sakarra’s empathic heritage never asserted itself except for a few vague and unfocused impressions. Hardly unexpected, this fact has led to some minor turbulences on a planet inhabited by empaths, resulting in Sakarra becoming an astute observer of body language to compensate for the inability to sense emotional states.

In accordance with her inquisitive and – in her grandmother’s words – “Hare-brained scared of nothing but luckier than a green fogcat” nature, Sakarra decided to go for a swim during one of Betazed’s famous spring storms and nearly drowned as a result at the age of fourteen. Rather than retain a healthy fear of water from now on she took up surfing instead and has caused many grey hairs in her family by diving into any available body of water, if necessary from a cliff.

The origin of Sakarra’s callsign “Sehlat” is still debated, but common consensus on Arandel holds there is a connection to several trees having been leveled during a rather enthusiastic take-off.

Determined to put her extensive knowledge of plants and her deep appreciation for all things growing to good use, Sakarra enrolled at the University of Betazed in 2396 to study botany; however at the outbreak of the Federation/Romulan war in 2398 she was recalled to full duty on Arandel.
Even after the news that her mother’s ship had been lost with all hands during the battle over 40 Eridani reached [[Betazed]] she remained with the squadron, but handed in her resignation the day after the signing of the peace treaty on board the USS Bismarck ended the war.

It is my guess that this incongruence is the cause of Miss Tyrax’s inability to really exercise her empathic abilities but that’d be a subject for a paper one day. Either way, as long as neurotransmitter levels don’t drop below Vulcan standard, she should be safe from lobotomizing herself.

Fine. As requested by the Powers that Be, an actual profile on a Vulcan.

The Commander is a logical person (big surprise there), and approaches crew evaluations with all the enthusiasm of a computer. Therefore I took the liberty of approaching secondary sources and have learned the following: She can be affable when she wants to be, even seems to be held in high regard by many of the crew. Even more surprising, the Charon's Romulan contingent appears to view her as not only a capable officer, but a tolerable Vulcan; and a passing pretty one, too. Rumors of a Romulan engineer with a crush on the Vulcan will need to be substantiated. Rumors that she's as oblivious as a Pyrithian bat are probably fact.

Research on [[Eris Deck]] has revealed the Vulcan likes [[Kal-toh|kal-toh]], [[Vulcan Spice Tea|spice tea]], and marines. According to Commander [[Robert Tisdale|Tisdale]] she's also a decent dancer, but I'd hesitate to call him a reliable source. More reliable is Miss Betty's assertion that Commander Sakarra has on rare occasions played the Vulcan lute in the rec room.

The Commander regularly logs time in the Charon's engineering department, a routine she has stuck to since her days as the ship's Chief Helm Officer, and has volunteered to play nurse for the marine [[Nikolai Chernienko]] - both of which is in character for a dedicated officer with no social life to speak of.

My evaluation is that Commander Sakarra is a logical, efficient, extrememly intelligent, if slightly boring and predictable officer. Perfect command material.

In the 23rd century the Horta entered into a Renewal. While [[Janus VI]] appeared uninhabited, the Federation established a mining colony, which the Prime Mother tolerated until 2267. In that year, the miners opened new levels of the mines and damaged eggs in the Vault of Tomorrow.

In an attempt to protect the eggs, the Prime Mother killed fifty of the miners, who were not aware of the damage they had done. The mysterious deaths resulted in the USS Enterprise being sent to investigate. Captain James T. Kirk and his first officer Spock conducted first contact with the Horta, Spock communicating via mind meld, and learned why the creature had attacked the miners.

After the misunderstanding was resolved, the remaining Horta eggs hatched, and the species began to thrive once more. By 2300, there were nearly 1,100 new Horta on [[Janus VI]], and fifty years later, there were more than 3,000.

A rock formation called '''Temep`Shar''' or "Gateway", where Surak is said to have begun his journey into The Forge, is considered to be the eastern border, though the ecoclimatic and biogeographic zone of eastern Shival extends to within 80 kilometers of [[Shi'Kahr]]. The northern limit of Sas-a-Shar roughly corresponds to the southernmost range of the [[Chakh|chakh]] palms growing in the semi-arid part of the Shival flats, while its southern border is marked by the [[Llangon Mountains|Llangon foothills]]. [[Xial#Seleya|Seleya]] and its surroundings are considered the western border of the Forge.

The central part of Sas-a-Shar is hyperarid with little to no vegetation, and characterized by rugged canyons of pale gold-brown rock and sand.

== Foundation ==

Founded by [[Julius Merikai]], the NeoDyne Defense Corporation began as a modest security and defense contractor before the first Dominion War. As a result of the Federation war with the Dominion, NeoDyne quickly grew into a large scale supplier of defense and weapon technologies to the Federation and other major powers.

The company’s wartime profits allowed it to expand into aerospace, weapons, and biomedical research. After the first Dominion War, NeoDyne had grown into a significant defense contractor supplying advanced technology and equipment to those with enough credits to afford its technological expertise.

However, the company’s founder and chief executive, Julius Merikai, was indicted on charges of selling classified Starfleet weapons technology to the Breen after the conclusion of the Dominion War. This information was quietly gathered by Commander [[Zane Akina]] of Starfleet Intelligence who secretly infiltrated the company posing as an employee to determine any wrong doing on the part of the increasingly powerful and influential corporation.

A public trial was held on Earth and Merikai was found guilty of all charges unable to defend himself against the substantial evidence obtained by Starfleet Intelligence. During the sentencing phase of his trial Julius Merikai was killed when his transport collided with another ship in Earth orbit killing everyone aboard.

== A New Leader ==

NeoDyne’s future appeared uncertain after the death of its founder and its loss of public credibility as a result of scandal and negative media coverage. With the corporation in tatters and investors quickly distancing themselves from the disgraced company, Julius Merikai’s son, [[Alistair Merikai]] inherited the reigns of a crumbling empire. Incensed by his father’s treatment in the media and his unshakable belief that his father had been setup by Starfleet Command who feared the company’s growing influence, Alistair Merikai set about rebuilding his father’s corporate empire.

== The Second Dominion War ==

The onset of the Second Dominion War eventually breathed new life into NeoDyne coffers. With the Federation suffering significant setbacks and losses at the war’s beginning, Starfleet awarded contracts to anyone who could deliver the tools needed to build a war machine able to counter the Dominion threat once again. Jumping on every opportunity, Alistair Merikai quickly positioned his company and its vast resources of defense patents and knowledge to meet the Federation’s insatiable needs for defense and war materials. Overnight, NeoDyne was back in business churning out new weapons, new technologies, and new knowledge to oil the vast machine of war that the Federation was throwing against its enemies.

By the war’s conclusion, NeoDyne had regained its former status as a preeminent defense contractor under the bold leadership of Alistair Merikai. Employing thousands, NeoDyne had surpassed its former size and influence and had reopened research and development into various areas. While Starfleet orders tapered off after the war, other customers continued orders of NeoDyne technologies to replenish losses obtained in the war or to bolster defenses at home.

== Post War Activities ==

Having regained its former status, overcoming prior scandal, and surpassing all expectations, NeoDyne had emerged as the top defense contractor in the Alpha Quadrant possessing unrivaled facilities in research and development which consistently delivered highly profitable innovations in everything from chemistry and medicine to weaponry and defense systems. The company’s profits soared and so did its ego. To signify its power, NeoDyne executives broke ground on a huge obsidian skyscraper on Rigel IV. The towering black spire, symbolizing the company’s wealth, influence, and power, dwarfed every building on the planet and is listed as one of the tallest structures in the quadrant.

== Secret Projects ==

NeoDyne’s success enabled its leader, Alistair Merikai, the opportunity to seek revenge on those he felt responsible for his father’s death. Uncovering a secret project and detailed notes and plans created by his late father, Merikai learned of his father’s grand dream of a universe without war. The ambitions and dreams of his father seemed unrealistic, but soon Alistair embraced them as his own and reinstituted the plans with a passionate determination to seem them become reality.

Avoiding the missteps of his father, Alistair took great pains to ensure his efforts were carefully guarded. Neodyne quietly assembled a massive, well trained and armed security force. Its operatives made their way into positions of influence within the quadrant’s major powers. Under a veil of complete secrecy the company continues its work on a secret project with galactic implications and ruthlessly pursues anyone with knowledge of their covert activities.

The plans of Alistair Merikai hinge on the genetic information locked away in the blood of two twin brothers who carry an alien genome used to treat a birth defect by a brilliant geneticist [[Dr. Artimis Ballentine]]. Having captured one of the twins the company relentlessly pursues the other, Captain [[Taverain Ramius]]. Having been unsuccessful for years at capturing the cavalier and intelligent Captain, NeoDyne continues its unethical and arcane research hoping to reach its sinister goals.

One of the few aware of the Alistair Merikai’s dark ambitions and nefarious goals, Captain Taverain Ramius must wage a silent campaign against the corporate juggernaut. Assembling a small band of willing allies, Ramius strives to expose NeoDyne’s sinister plans before the powerful corporation can unleash a terrible force upon the galaxy and forever shatter the foundations of peace.

Ch'Dabhae was the home of thousands of Romulan dissidents known as 'reunificationists.' Seeing them as a threat the Romulan Imperial Senate ordered them exiled. Over two hundred thousand Romulans lived on Ch'Dabhae, however, during research by [[NeoDyne Defense Corporation|NeoDyne]] into their [[Memento Mori(Weapon)|Memento Mori]] Bioweapon several thousand would die. The survivors were routinely kidnapped from smaller fringe villages and used by NeoDyne researchers as unwilling test subjects. On 240911.19 the population would be eradicated by atmospheric dispersion of the [[Memento Mori(Weapon)|Memento Mori]].

=== About the Planet ===

Dabhae is a class M planet with a moderate climate. The exiled Romulans found the planet stable even for being so close to the Yy'a Nebula. Before the NeoDyne purges they had successfully built themselves a new agrarian society.
