==Biography==

Aulis was born on the Deltan homeworld in 2368. His family lived isolated on a small moon, where his father died while working as a prospector. His mother later also died of illness, leaving Aulis alone at the age of eleven. For a few years, he survived off of sparce rations, and the luck of finding the odd wild animal to eat. When he was thirteen years old, he was rescued by a Federation Starship that was investigating the loss of several fighters in the vicinity of the small moon.

He was taken in, and adopted by the Captain of the ship. He would later take that Captain's last name as his own - Brevard. Living among non-Deltans was a trial for Aulis; and was certainly a trial for the women around him. Due to the abnormally high and enticing pheromones inherent to his people, women found Aulis irresistible. This began just as he entered puberty. After a few incidents, the CMO of his father's ship was able to synthesize a drug which inhibited some of the pheromone output, making life a bit easier. As time went on, it was obvious to everyone that Aulis was very intelligent, and adept at anything he set his mind to. Although his adoptive father had wished for Aulis to join Starfleet, the young Deltan had other plans.

Feeling that Starfleet was too structured for his tastes, Aulis decided upon a civilian career with the Federation Government. After an unsuccessful attempt to work as an Aide for a Councilman, Aulis realized that he needed an education; he would attend the Daystrom Institute of Technology from 2369 - 2374, earning a degree in Xenolinguistics. By the end of his education, Aulis had become fluent in five languages aside from Federation Standard: Klingon, Vulcan, Andorian, Cardassian, and Romulan. He had developed a keen sense of dialect, and was able to speak each language as if it were his native tongue. This talent would play a key role in his future...

Just after finishing school, Aulis was hit with good fortune as the UFP Representative from his homeworld of Delta IV took a shine to him. The elder statesman desired to teach Aulis all about the people he had been taken from; to know what it means to be Deltan. With that as his primary goal, the Representative from Delta IV took Aulis on as an Aide. Over the next three years, the younger Deltan was basically being compensated for taking history lessons. But the work he did opened doors - doors which he was all to eager to leap through.

It happened that the Chair held by the Representative from Delta IV held the Department of Temporal Investigations under its purview. With Aulis' outstanding linguistic abilities, along with a stellar recommendation from his former boss - Aulis was brought aboard and served as a linguist for the Department from 2377 until 2381. During that time, he would be privy to several classified investigations, and was found by his superiors to be trustworthy, hardworking, and motivated. All the little things that matter to such people, as it would seem.

Aulis was offered a position as an Investigator with the Department, and gladly accepted. He would serve alongside a more experienced Investigator for twelve years before being promoted and given his own junior to teach. During his dozen years as a junior agent, Aulis participated in several high-profile investigations; taking him to the far-flung corners of the galaxy...and more importantly (for his future) brought him across the paths of several different Starfleet Intelligence Officers and Section-31 Agents. Without realizing it, a file had been created with him as the target...

From 2393 until 2399 Aulis would serve as an Agent-in-Charge for the Department of Temporal Investigations. While his job was not Starfleet; the Department utilized Starfleet vessels and bases consistently in their work - considering that around 95% of all temporal violations were committed by starfleet personnel. This time among Starfleet gave Aulis a great appreciation for the service; as well as special knowledge of how things were run "behind the scenes".

As the year 2400 came along, Aulis - now a seasoned Investigator and respected member of his Department - was approached by a human who had a rather enticing offer. While there was no confirmation of who or what this human worked for, Aulis guessed that the man was an intelligence operative; since that's what he was being offered...a sort of - off the books job - with Starfleet Intelligence. He would hold no rank, and pretty much everything he did over the next few years would be buried under the red word "CLASSIFIED"...but the work would be vital to the Federation, and upon completion, he would be allowed to accept almost any job he wanted within the intelligence field. There was no way Aulis could turn down such an offer.

For nine years, the Deltan served aboard the USS Andropov - an intel-tasked vessel which served alongside a joint UFP/Klingon vessel. The primary mission for these ships was the recovery of an Andorian artifact of unbelievable power; but there were plenty of side-missions to keep everyone busy. While all of the work has been classified at the highest levels; Aulis is always quick to remind people that he is a linguist...you can imagine what his role was in any given operation.

In 2409, an El-Aurian officer named Oberic Sierra was promoted and taken away from his posting aboard the USS Charon. When Sierra arrived on the Andropov to assume his new duties, he made it a personal request of Aulis that he take over for him on the Charon. After some convincing, the Deltan agreed. After all, being the only Intel Operator aboard...and not having an actual Starfleet rank...yeah - this could get interesting.

==Biography==

Oberic was born in 2056, to a pair of El-Aurian Scientists on Vulcan. His parents were attending the Vulcan Science Academy, and doing personal research into Vulcan culture and religion. Beginning in 2075, Oberic attended the Vulcan Science Academy. There he studied Propulsion Engineering - eventually earning several degrees, and certifications before his departure in 2150.

In 2151, Oberic went to earth and joined the United Earth Government under the guise of being human. He served as an Engineering Developer on the Daedalus Class starship, and would accompany one of the first Daedalus ships, the USS Antioch, as it steamed headfirst into the Romulan War; in 2158. The War ended a couple of years later, and after the retun to earth, and somewhat light duty, Earth joined the UFP, and Starfleet. Along with joining, Earth donated more than fifty Daedalus Class Starships. Oberic signed on with a crew as an Engineering Officer abord the USS Carolina, and would serve as his ship made First Contact with more than twenty new life-forms, and the successful planting of several colonies on outlying worlds.

By 2170, Oberic had reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander, and was the Chief Engineer on the Carolina. Having completed two tours, as well as service in the Romulan War, Oberic had plenty to write about. He left Starfleet, and returned to Vulcan where he met back up with his parents. He would attend the Vulcan Science Academy for the next twenty years, all the while writing a record of his participation in Starfleet's birth and beginning infancy.

At the Academy, Oberic studied Astrophysics, and Stellar Cartography, having completed doctorate degrees in both by the time he left, in 2191. He then made the decision to rejoin Starfleet, and in 2193 found himself going through the Academy as a "fresh-faced" lad of nineteen. At the time, it was still not common knowledge that the El-Aurians existed, much less that they were very long-lived. This time around, he would choose a command path, majoring in Starship Operations. He graduated in 2197, and was assigned to the USS Brisbane. The term of service was rather boring by comparison to the first several tours he'd served; mostly patrol duty along the ill-defined UFP/Romulan Border. Oberic would finally get too bored with sitting in one place, and left Starfleet again in 2204.

Oberic would remain on Earth, where he found work as a Professor of Astrophysics at the Academy. Doing his best to make himself look slightly older as the years past, he reached a point where he could no longer do so effectively. Oberic left Earth in 2218, and made his way to the Artemis Sector, where he would join a small colony of El-Aurians near Cardassian Space. He would stay with his people, studying and sharing experiences. Word reached the small colony in 2266 that their homeworld had been attacked, desroyed, and all but a few assimilated by the Borg. The colonists found in themsleves a renewed sense of purpose. They were part of but a very few who remained from their species. In 2296, Oberic was joined with Melea. The two had a daughter, Shloet, in 2300. The family would remain together, living a very normal life, until 2344. It was then that Melea and Shloet both fell ill, as did many other women in the colony. The illness was never identified, and eventually, more than eighty percent of the female colonsits would perish, including Oberic's wife and daughter.

Not wishing to remain with the colony; which served only as a reminder of what he'd lost, Oberic returned to Vulcan, where he would stay with his parents for the next several years. In 2349, Oberic rejoined Starfleet. This time, he informed Starfleet Command of his identity, telling them of the exploits of a younger El-Aurian who was a memebr of Starfleet from the time it was founded. He was welcomed back with open arms, and opted not to attend the Academy again. He would decide upon a change of pace, and go into the Intelligence Field. In light of his vast experience and knowledge, he was given a Warrant Commission, and sent to serve as an Intel Officer aboard the Excelsior-Class Starship, USS Stockholm. He would stay with the crew of the Stockholm for the next fifteen years. In 2367, the Stockholm would participate in the Battle of Wolf 359, against the Borg. Oberic had a personal hatred for the Borg that showed in his tireless attempt to destroy the Cube. Although nearly crippled, and with his Captain and Executive Officer dead, Oberic made the bold command for the Stockholm to ram into the cube. Just as his order was about to be executed, the battle had come to an end, thanks to the efforts of Captain Picard and his crew. Oberic returned to Earth, where he took a six week leave before reporting for his next duty.

In 2368, Oberic joined the crew of the USS Missouri, a Steamrunner-Class vessel, serving along the UFP/Klingon Border. Even though it was border duty, Oberic found himself very busy, the ship would be involved in many little skirmishes, and colony disputes during the following seven years. Even though the Dominion war raged on, the Missouri found herself relegated to the border duty - a neccesity even during wartime on another front. Oberic would have to sit on the sidelines and watch as the battles were fought, won, and lost.

While refusing promotions and relegating himself to the role of an Intelligence Officer instead of an operative or command-line officer, Oberic would be transferred to Starbase-99 where he would serve in relative obscurity for the following ten years.

From 2380 until 2400, Oberic served as a special envoy to the planet Vulcan, where he was able to spend more time with his parents. While his job was more of a diplomatic assignment, he retained his role in intelligence by leaving Vulcan several times a year for various operations.

From 2400 through 2409, Oberic would be aboard the USS Andropov, an intel-tasked vessel. All actions of this vessel, and therefore Oberic, are classified under order of the Deputy Chief of Starfleet Intelligence.

In 2409, Oberic was informed that his father had passed away. He returned to Vulcan where he would remain with his mother for almost a year; being allowed an extended leave of absence. He returned to Starfleet, and was assigned to the USS Charon.

== Personality ==

For the most part, Oberic is a very kind, and accomodating person. A good majority of people who have served with him will think highly of him as not only a leader, but as a friend. Being over three centuries old has given Oberic a presence that few can explain, but that all can sense in some way or another. Due to his fair, open, and friendly disposition, Oberic rarely has to convince subordinates to carry out orders, even if the orders rub someone the wrong way, contradict what they want personally, or even endanger lives openly.

Most everything regarding this guy is classified at such high levels there are only a dozen people who know what he's done for the Federation. Rumor and speculation surround him...those who've seen him, know on sight that he's not a typical Starfleet Officer. He usually carries provisional rank equal to or higher than the commanding officer of whatever vessel or installation where he's sent to work; this is done to avoid being "ordered" by anyone other than those who hide in the shadows and command from afar. During the Dominion War, his methods were highly successful - as he gathered valuable information from captured enemies; including the rather infamous breaking of a Jem'Hadar First.

== History ==

The Koragh was built by the Klingon Empire specifically as an intelligence-tasked vessel. She is basically a much larger version of the standard bird-of-prey. There is only one in existence at this time - the class namesake.

As a joint effort of the Starfleet and Klingon Intelligence communities, the Koragh stands as a monument to cooperation. The ship has two commanding officers; one Klingon and one Federation. They share command and both are able to lead anyone aboard, regardless of individual loyalties. After the successful launch of the Andropov in 2395, the Klingon Intelligence community sought assistance in refitting an older B'rel class ship for similar purposes as the Andropov. Assistance in this matter was only granted on the provision that the two governmental intelligence agencies would agree to work together, making the Koragh a sort of test bed for future joint-missions between the two powers.

As for Federation involvement, the Koragh has been fitted with ablative armor, a more stable structural integrity field, enhanced targeting, and an auto-modulating shield system. The Klingons provided for a much uprated weapons system; with more firepower and increased ammunition load. The result is a ship that, quite honestly, seems a bit overpowered for the mission at hand. Starfleet Intelligence wished to utilize the enhanced cloak of the Koragh for more clandestine operations. The Klingons, in typical fashion, wanted to make sure they could devastate any ship it came across...should the need arise.

The Andropov was originally intended to be a capital ship of the line; but under the guidance of the Deputy Director of Starfleet Intelligence, an Excelsior-Class Refit was used instead. The idea is that, upon first glance, most would dismiss the vessel as somewhat outdated and less of a threat. Her shields are very different from anything else known to exist; using cloaking technology supplied by friends in the Klingon Intel Community, the Andropov's shields deploy a sort of dispersing field - which makes accurate scans of her true nature nearly impossible. In action, she has faced down foes including Ferengi, Cardassian, Breen, Klingon, and Romulan - all successfully. Her successes are due, in no small part, to the weaponry employed. As a joint effort of the Starfleet and Klingon Intelligence communities, the Koragh stands as a monument to cooperation. The ship has two commanding officers; one Klingon and one Federation. They share command and both are able to lead anyone aboard, regardless of individual loyalties. After the successful launch of the Andropov in 2395, the Klingon Intelligence community sought assistance in refitting an older B'rel class ship for similar purposes as the Andropov. The Andropov was originally intended to be a capital ship of the line; but under the guidance of the Deputy Director of Starfleet Intelligence, an Excelsior-Class Refit was used instead. The idea is that, upon first glance, most would dismiss the vessel as somewhat outdated and less of a threat. Her shields are very different from anything else known to exist; using cloaking technology supplied by friends in the Klingon Intel Community, the Andropov's shields deploy a sort of dispersing field - which makes accurate scans of her true nature nearly impossible. The ship itself is not able to cloak, but the technology used in the shields is something that the wider community might delight in researching further...if they knew it existed. The shield system auto-modulates, like many larger and newer vessels. The Andropov is host to a heavy duranium/tritanium double hull encassed by 15cm of ablative armor. The high-level structural integrity field assists in making the whole thing run smoothly, despite the heavy modifications.

Offensively, the Andropov was given the capability of standing bow-to-bow with ships that seemingly outmatch her. Through simulations and wargame skirmishes, the Andropov has, to date, defeated Federation vessels in the following classes: Defiant, Galaxy, Nova, and Sovereign. In action, she has faced down foes including Ferengi, Cardassian, Breen, Klingon, and Romulan - all successfully. Her successes are due, in no small part, to the weaponry employed. In addition to the 10 Type-XII Phaser Arrays, the Andropov boasts 2 Class-I Rapid-Fire Pulse Cannons (the type used on the Defiant-Class), as well as 4 Type-4 Burst-Fire Quantum Torpedo Tubes and one Rapid-Fire Quantum Tube. The ship has a lot of freed-up space aboard, which has been utilized to house the uprated weapons and defensive systems. This is possible since the ship's crew are all Intel Operatives (with the exception of the Engineers and Medical Teams who are security-cleared but not members of Starfleet Intelligence); which means no sciences, security, diplomats, marines, etc.

The Andropov has a normal cruise speed of Warp 7. Her max cruise speed is Warp 9.5 and max rated speed is 9.9, which she can maintain for 12 hours before serious problems start to develop. She carries a crew of 790; of that number 170 are engineers, 120 are medical staff, and 500 are intelligence operatives. There are six separate divisions aboard the Andropov; each one having a particular specialization/mission:

==Biography==

Oberic was born in 2056, to a pair of El-Aurian Scientists on Vulcan. His parents were attending the Vulcan Science Academy, and doing personal research into Vulcan culture and religion. Beginning in 2075, Oberic attended the Vulcan Science Academy. There he studied Propulsion Engineering - eventually earning several degrees, and certifications before his departure in 2150.

In 2151, Oberic went to earth and joined the United Earth Government under the guise of being human. He served as an Engineering Developer on the Daedalus Class starship, and would accompany one of the first Daedalus ships, the USS Antioch, as it steamed headfirst into the Romulan War; in 2158. The War ended a couple of years later, and after the retun to earth, and somewhat light duty, Earth joined the UFP, and Starfleet. Along with joining, Earth donated more than fifty Daedalus Class Starships. Oberic signed on with a crew as an Engineering Officer abord the USS Carolina, and would serve as his ship made First Contact with more than twenty new life-forms, and the successful planting of several colonies on outlying worlds.

By 2170, Oberic had reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander, and was the Chief Engineer on the Carolina. Having completed two tours, as well as service in the Romulan War, Oberic had plenty to write about. He left Starfleet, and returned to Vulcan where he met back up with his parents. He would attend the Vulcan Science Academy for the next twenty years, all the while writing a record of his participation in Starfleet's birth and beginning infancy.

At the Academy, Oberic studied Astrophysics, and Stellar Cartography, having completed doctorate degrees in both by the time he left, in 2191. He then made the decision to rejoin Starfleet, and in 2193 found himself going through the Academy as a "fresh-faced" lad of nineteen. At the time, it was still not common knowledge that the El-Aurians existed, much less that they were very long-lived. This time around, he would choose a command path, majoring in Starship Operations. He graduated in 2197, and was assigned to the USS Brisbane. The term of service was rather boring by comparison to the first several tours he'd served; mostly patrol duty along the ill-defined UFP/Romulan Border. Oberic would finally get too bored with sitting in one place, and left Starfleet again in 2204.

Oberic would remain on Earth, where he found work as a Professor of Astrophysics at the Academy. Doing his best to make himself look slightly older as the years past, he reached a point where he could no longer do so effectively. Oberic left Earth in 2218, and made his way to the Artemis Sector, where he would join a small colony of El-Aurians near Cardassian Space. He would stay with his people, studying and sharing experiences. Word reached the small colony in 2266 that their homeworld had been attacked, desroyed, and all but a few assimilated by the Borg. The colonists found in themsleves a renewed sense of purpose. They were part of but a very few who remained from their species. In 2296, Oberic was joined with Melea. The two had a daughter, Shloet, in 2300. The family would remain together, living a very normal life, until 2344. It was then that Melea and Shloet both fell ill, as did many other women in the colony. The illness was never identified, and eventually, more than eighty percent of the female colonsits would perish, including Oberic's wife and daughter.

Not wishing to remain with the colony; which served only as a reminder of what he'd lost, Oberic returned to Vulcan, where he would stay with his parents for the next several years. In 2349, Oberic rejoined Starfleet. This time, he informed Starfleet Command of his identity, telling them of the exploits of a younger El-Aurian who was a memebr of Starfleet from the time it was founded. He was welcomed back with open arms, and opted not to attend the Academy again. He would decide upon a change of pace, and go into the Intelligence Field. In light of his vast experience and knowledge, he was given a Warrant Commission, and sent to serve as an Intel Officer aboard the Excelsior-Class Starship, USS Stockholm. He would stay with the crew of the Stockholm for the next fifteen years. In 2367, the Stockholm would participate in the Battle of Wolf 359, against the Borg. Oberic had a personal hatred for the Borg that showed in his tireless attempt to destroy the Cube. Although nearly crippled, and with his Captain and Executive Officer dead, Oberic made the bold command for the Stockholm to ram into the cube. Just as his order was about to be executed, the battle had come to an end, thanks to the efforts of Captain Picard and his crew. Oberic returned to Earth, where he took a six week leave before reporting for his next duty.

In 2368, Oberic joined the crew of the USS Missouri, a Steamrunner-Class vessel, serving along the UFP/Klingon Border. Even though it was border duty, Oberic found himself very busy, the ship would be involved in many little skirmishes, and colony disputes during the following seven years. Even though the Dominion war raged on, the Missouri found herself relegated to the border duty - a neccesity even during wartime on another front. Oberic would have to sit on the sidelines and watch as the battles were fought, won, and lost.

While refusing promotions and relegating himself to the role of an Intelligence Officer instead of an operative or command-line officer, Oberic would be transferred to Starbase-99 where he would serve in relative obscurity for the following ten years.

From 2380 until 2400, Oberic served as a special envoy to the planet Vulcan, where he was able to spend more time with his parents. While his job was more of a diplomatic assignment, he retained his role in intelligence by leaving Vulcan several times a year for various operations.

From 2400 through 2409, Oberic would be aboard the USS Andropov, an intel-tasked vessel. All actions of this vessel, and therefore Oberic, are classified under order of the Deputy Chief of Starfleet Intelligence.

In 2409, Oberic was informed that his father had passed away. He returned to Vulcan where he would remain with his mother for almost a year; being allowed an extended leave of absence. He returned to Starfleet, and was assigned to the USS Charon.

== Personality ==

For the most part, Oberic is a very kind, and accomodating person. A good majority of people who have served with him will think highly of him as not only a leader, but as a friend. Being over three centuries old has given Oberic a presence that few can explain, but that all can sense in some way or another. Due to his fair, open, and friendly disposition, Oberic rarely has to convince subordinates to carry out orders, even if the orders rub someone the wrong way, contradict what they want personally, or even endanger lives openly.

== About Me ==

I've been simming since the beginning of 1998. A friend of mine asked me to help him organize a sim, which eventually became a dozen sims spread throughout the Trek timeline. We once had over 200 unique players and 300 characters on over a dozen ships and bases. Once that ended (as all things are wont to do), I simmed on various independent and fleet sims; enjoying most of those experiences.

I would take little breaks here and there depending on how education and marriage were treating me. Out here in the world beyond the sim, I have earned a total of five university degrees (BA, JD, MS, LL.M, JSD) which represent a period of 13 years' worth of schooling. I've been married since March 2001 and have two children: Chloe (born 2002) and Logan (born 2010). My wife is a registered nurse and works in a retirement home.

I am a fun and easy person to get along with. There have only been two people in my life that I simply don't - and will never - like. So odds are, you're safe. :)

From 2380 until 2400, Oberic served as a special envoy to the planet Vulcan, where he was able to spend more time with his parents. While his job was more of a diplomatic assignment, he retained his role in intelligence by leaving Vulcan several times a year for various operations.

From 2400 through 2409, Oberic would be aboard the USS Andropov, an intel-tasked vessel. All actions of this vessel, and therefore Oberic, are classified under order of the Deputy Chief of Starfleet Intelligence.

In 2409, Oberic was informed that his father had passed away. He returned to Vulcan where he would remain with his mother for almost a year; being allowed an extended leave of absence. He returned to Starfleet, and was assigned to the USS Charon.

== Personality ==

For the most part, Oberic is a very kind, and accomodating person. A good majority of people who have served with him will think highly of him as not only a leader, but as a friend. Being over three centuries old has given Oberic a presence that few can explain, but that all can sense in some way or another. Due to his fair, open, and friendly disposition, Oberic rarely has to convince subordinates to carry out orders, even if the orders rub someone the wrong way, contradict what they want personally, or even endanger lives openly.
