	Set in ~~2415~~ where the ~~Federation~~ has just been devastated ~~and weakened~~ by ~~a short civil conflict~~. ~~Resources are spread thin~~ and ~~Starfleet has had to consolidate both fleets and personnel~~. ~~Member worlds concerned about~~ the ~~state of~~ the ~~Federation have started to slowly trickle away~~. A slow ebb of sickness has slowly begun enveloping the heart of democracy in the Alpha Quadrant and the time couldn't be worse. With a strengthened Empire the new Klingon Chancellor's territorial ambition has brought them into conflict with the Romulan Star Empire. As the turmoil spreads there is a renewed call for Starfleet to decrease it's proclivity for military resolution and seek out alternatives: To renew the old focus on exploration, scientific research, and peaceful diplomatic initiatives. After spending the past decade moving the Imperial Navy towards a merit based command structure the current. Deciding that Commander [[Zivit Agron\|Agron]] is overwhelmed Starfleet relieves her of Command and Captain [[Khiy Kanryth]] is appointed as the new Commanding Officer while [[Zivit Agron\|Agron]] agrees to remain aboard as the ship's Executive Officer.
