	'''The Battle of Humbraine''' was one of the most decisive battles in the course of the Dark Wars, a series of wars that lasted over 20 years on and off. This battle also marked the begining of a new Vree/Kree war, the last one for almost 400 years and saw the Vree Republic resume an isolationist stance.

	Following the Battle of the Black Nebula where the majority of the would be defensive fleet of Humbraine destroyed by a sneak Vree attack. The path to Humbraine was clear, allowing the Imperial Loyalist factions to attack Humbraine in a devestating bombardment.

	Following the battle, Miranda Valeria defected to the Assembly Coalition and for the remaining four years of the war she helped the Assembly with the final campaign of the war, ending with the Battle of Kivu Kaan.

	Miranda Valeria decided to open the attack with a symbolic victory of leveling the Astani temple, a symbol of hope and peace of the Kree. And by destroying it's elite protectors she effectively removed a large part of her opposition on the ground. As a large skirmish raged within the temple, several well placed charges detonate below the temple, destroying some of it's foundation and making the combat a strain on the building it's self. After leveling most of the temple through bombardment, Miranda and supreme Commander Arivia Bre'accoria moved onto landing more ground troops and commencing fighter attacks on the city in preparation for the upcoming bombardment.

	With ground forces in place, the Imperial Factions began a large scale bombardment of the city world, crushing opposition and making organized resistance next to impossible in the shadow of their warship's might guns.

	Upon hearing of a large scale assualt on Humbraine, the main Coalition fleet moved to intercept the Imperial Factions in orbit but were caught up in a carefully planned diversion in the Barandra Asteroid Belt. After arriving, a large scale space battle ensued.

	Upon the appearance of an Assembly fleet, Miranda ordered most of her ships back into orbit, save a few warships to continued mercilessly bombarding the planet to make the cost of driving off the Imperials a heavy one.

	~~It is unknown why exactly Miranda Valeria ordered a reatreat, and the reason why she defected, her own reason. Records from this time are limited.~~
