	Back on the planet the first away team conducts a hard landing. However, the away team members are in one piece and slowly exit the shuttle. Outside of the shuttle [[Ch'Tan Foster\|Commander Foster]] discovers a Klingon woman observing them. After a short altercation Ch'Tan is able to speak with the woman who informs him that the Klingons crash landed on the planet several years ago, however, she does not believe him when he informs her of the current date since she does not believe they have been on the planet for almost a century. 			Meanwhile on the Charon the second away team led by [[Ceer\|Commander Ceer]] departs the ship. However, they are missing [[Runo Dlya\|Lieutenant Dlya]] who was ordered by [[Aaliyah Becker\|Commander Becker]] to round up the Marines.

			The second shuttle makes a smooth descent to surface and they are able to locate the crash site of the first shuttle. However, due to terrain difficulties they are forced to land a few kilometers away. Commander Ceer and Ensign Bai both head to the crash site with security escorts while Lieutenant Suuraht and Ensign Natira begin examining and taking samples of local fauna.

			The first away team is informed by [[Karare]] about the local carnivorous creatures that stalk the planet. As they travel the forest they are attacked by the two of the creatures. [[Shaun Fisher\|Captain Fisher]] and [[Yavyn Arc]] are seriously wounded while Commander Foster and the Klingon [[Karare]] are able to defeat their primitive assailant.

			Upon arrival [[Indira Bai\|Ensign Bai]] Immediately renders medical aid to injured crewmembers while Commander Calhoun attempts to find a way to send [[Shaun Fisher\|Fisher]] and [[Yavyn Arc\|Arc]] back to the Charon.

	The science department is able to isolate the source of the signal to a planetary system located deep within the area of disturbed subspace. Using veins of subspace stability the Charon slowly makes her way to the source. When they arrive in orbit of the Class M planet they recognize the body of the D-7 Klingon Cruiser lying in the middle of a massive jungle.
