His godmother’s love of flying left a lasting impression on him. Whenever he visited Vulcan as a child, he eagerly learned to pilot a variety of land craft, mastering them with a natural ease. On Romulus, he spent time at the Rehu estate in Nn’Verih, much to the frustration of the estate’s servants—his favorite pastime involved racing flitters across the grounds, leaving a trail of chaos in his wake.

Though she never directly intervened on his behalf, she did have the commander of the war college, H'Daen tr'Tomalak, handle Nniol's despcipline as harshly as he felt~~ was needed. It is storied that Nniol has polished the Imperial War College campus at least two times over with only a simple a hand brush. Whether or not that is true or not is not fully known, but what is known that after H'Daen's intervention Nniol started to ~~lose~~ his ~~rebellious streak and become more professional (well, mostly)~~.		An incredible pilot but a troublesome student—this was how most instructors described Nniol at the Imperial War College. His skills in the cockpit were undeniable, but his attitude often landed him in hot water. Many believed the only reason he wasn’t expelled was due to his mother’s position as Galae’EnRiov.

He would take over the Daise'Paectum position from tr'Danlek after the latter completed his Serona. He would serve in this role for several years.
