			Born to Rihannsu who were considered outcasts by the rest of society for following pacifist Vulcan philosophies (and thus had been exiled to [[Ch'Dabhae]]), Nveid grew up a typical farmer's child on a world in the impoverished Eastern Empire.


			One of only two survivors of the biogenic attack on [[Ch'Dabhae]], then 10 year old Nveid formed a strong attachment to [[USS Charon\|Charon's]] crew, and most specifically to the [[Sakarra Tyrax\|Vulcan]] he considered his rescuer.
