V'Shar - The Vulcan Bureau of Intelligence, located in Vulcana Regar (Province of Raal)

The Bureau's ancient building complex overlooks the central plaza and is accessible to the public at all times. Famous for their tranquil gardens and small, exclusive restaurants, the headquarters also house a museum of classic art and a small but well stocked library.

Officially, the V'Shar does little more than monitor Vulcan's spaceports and make ceremonial appearances at Council meetings.

Semi-officially, the Bureau also assists the V'Kor (Vulcan police) when requested and cooperates with the planetary defense forces if and when the need arises.

As with most Intelligence Agencies however, rumors are bound to flourish. In this case most notably those concerning Starfleet intelligence 'borrowing' highly skilled agents, and during the Dominion wars stories of entire 'spy ships' and infiltration missions were rather commonplace.

The only confirmation the Bureau has ever issued is that V'Shar decryption specialists have indeed rendered assistance to Starfleet. Perfectly logical, since one will hardly ever find more graduates of the Science Academy and the Institute of Defensive Arts all gathered in one spot.
