The Lyrillians are a warp capable species located in the Beta Quadrant. Although most of their technology was given to them by an incredibly advanced species called the 'teachers' the Lyrillians have a great understanding of space and physics. They spent several millennia traveling space on their planet-ship Lyrila until the systems began to slowly fail from centuries of decay.
