Biography

Born aboard the USS Raiden to Amara and Ravi I’Nia, Sareel’s early childhood years were spent traveling the stars. Amara’s work as a Starfleet doctor had sent her to Betazed. It was there she met and fell in love with her husband, Ravi. His position as a command bound Security Officer left her with a unique view of life in Starfleet. Their tenure on Betazed only lasted a short time before they moved again, duty took them back to a starship. Only this time they were expecting their twin daughters. Her twin Dea is only a few minutes younger than Sareel.

Eventually duties sent Ravi and his family to Earth for a short tour of duty. Her youngest sister, Tailynn, was born around that time. Growing up Sareel remained close to her two sisters.

In a rather bold move she chose to enlist as a marine,when she was old enough, before going onto pursue her career as an officer. Sareel trained as a Forward Combat Controller and a pilot. Though she spent more of her time working Forward Combat control.

At the end of that tour of duty, Sareel entered Starfleet Academy and chose to concentrate her studies in the areas of Aerospace Fighter Operations and military strategy and tactics. Part of her reasons for joining Starfleet has to do with her desire to serve the Federation like the rest of her family. She showed some natural talent in her Flight training and Tactical classes.

During her tenure as a Cadet, Sareel participated in several extracurricular activities aside from academic studies. She spent her final year at the Academy aboard the USS Demios for her final field training assignment. Cadet I’Nia served in various capacities including Flight Ops Officer and assisted with Flight Intelligence. That brief tour of duty proved to be more enlightening than she had planned. After that she spent a short time on Betazed awaiting her orders.

Duty then saw Sareel I’Nia transferred to the SB Aurora as a fighter pilot for the 540th Tactical Defense Wing. The chance to join such a well respected unit. came at a good time since she found herself starting to become a bit antsy to get back into space. Sareel found herself promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade and then full Lieutenant.

Later she accepted a transfer to the USS Solaria. It was around that time her career path also changed. Sareel moved from being a pilot into Intelligence full time.

Now Sareel serves aboard the USS Charon as an Intelligence Officer.

Medical Information

Sareel has a few scars. They serve as a reminder for Sareel even though she tends to keep the story behind them to herself.

As part of maintaining her active flight status she stays physically fit through a daily, rigorous exercise regimine. It something Sareel takes seriously even though her career has switched paths.

Sareel takes good care of herself both physically and mentally. Although she has suffered injuries as part of her duties from time to time.

Her Betazoid abilities are well developed. She keeps them well under control. Because she had been away from Betazed for several years it isn't often Sareel has a chance to use her full abilities. Though it also tends to make Sareel very passionate about life in general.

Personality

Sareel has a personality built on loyalty. She tends to be passionate about life yet has some personal demons that have stuck with her along the way. On duty Sareel is focused and dedicated to serving as a Starfleet officer. Her time as a marine remains a rather guarded secret. It is something she doesn't talk about much.

As with more Betazoid’s she is soft spoken yet has been known to have quite a temper if something sets her off. Sareel has many aspects of her mother’s personality yet there are definitive elements of her father as well within her. Her intensity when on duty is one of them. That's one of the things that makes her so good at Intelligence work.

Family has always been an important part of a balanced life for Sareel. Over time she has learned there is more to it than having a successful career. Realtionships have been one of those elusive things for her. At one point Sareel chose to walk away from the arranged marriage her parents had wanted. It didn't fit her personality to go through with that tradition.
