| The Battle of Humbraine was one of the most decisive battles in the course of the Dark Wars, a series of wars that lasted over a hundred years on and off. This battle also marked the begining of a new Vree/Kree war, the last one for almost 400 years and saw the Vree Republic resume an isolationist stance.

| Following the Battle of the Black Nebula where the majority of the would be defensive fleet of Humbraine destroyed by a sneak Vree attack. The path to Humbraine was clear, allowing the Imperial Loyalist factions to attack Humbraine in a devestating bombardment.
