Samuel Burk is a notable Starfleet Astrophysicist assigned to the USS Charon.
- His wife and children were killed on Zakdorn in 2401 during the Romulan bombardment. He still resents the Romulans for the deaths of his family.
- He attacked Commodore Rehu on Starbase Versailles, however, the Commodore gave him a second chance to redeem himself after the incident.
