Patrick Jacob Donzall was born on stardate 237801.29 on Earth. His mother, Gertrude Newland, was a Starfleet science officer involved in rebuilding the B'Kar settlement on Boradis II after the Borg attacks. Here she met Ja'Kob Donzall; a B'Kar Starfleet officer who was responsible for security in the settlement during the rebuild. They fell in love and got married under Terran traditions and values on Stardate 237506.12 in San Francisco, Earth.
On the 31st March 2357 John Carrington was born to parents Michael Carrington, OBE and his wife Doctor Sarah Carrington in the St. James General Hospital in London, England on Earth. Michael Carrington, OBE was the Chief Executive Officer of his company, The Carrington Institute. The company was, and remains the premier supplier of security systems and technology for both private and public sectors in the Federation. Doctor Sophie Carrington was a doctor in the St. James General Hospital and a leading researcher into the rare and deadly XY strain of Rigelian Fever. During his early childhood John grew up in Carrington Manor, a luxury ten bedroom modern estate on the outskirts of Hertfordshire near London where the head office of TCI was located. During his school years John showed great aptitude with numbers, and performed to high levels in examinations a skill which he had been taught from his father. John had a strange relationship with his parents throughout childhood, while in the younger years of his life they were around to provide for him when he attended school they both returned to work fully and he was left in the care of family friends which meant that he grew apart from his family and became isolated within himself. Despite this loneliness at home John was popular at school and was highly charismatic, another trait inherited from his father. He also had the compassion of his mother which led to him being a well-rounded individual who showed great promise, despite being estranged from his parents.

After they got married, Gertrude resigned from the fleet and began to make a home for them on Earth. Ja'Kob still served aboard a Starfleet vessel and was thus ordered on an intelligence recon-mission into Romulan space on Stardate 237705.04. All contact with Ja'Kob Donzall's ship was lost and they were never heard from again. Ja'Kob was declared Missing in Action on stardate 237707.04, after contact with his ship had been nill for over a month. Intelligence had also reported it as captured or possibly destroyed. Ja'Kob never knew Gertrude was pregnant when he left on his mission and Patrick never knew his father. In honour of his memory, Gertrude gave Patrick a middle name, after his father: Jacob. Patrick left for the Academy at the age of 16, after heavy protest from his mother. He followed his heart and worked his way through the academy and graduated, moving onto his first post as Asst. Operations Officer on Deep Space Europa.
In 2369 John was enrolled into Eton College where he went to secondary school and completed his GCSEs and A-Level examinations. He boarded at the school and for this he was thankful, his home life while more comfortable than most lacked the personal attachment with his parents which he missed, and this made him unhappy. While at boarding school John was an average boy, he studied hard and took part in several sports including rugby and fencing. He also interacted with many of the local females (as the school was all-male) and this earned him a reputation as a womaniser by the age of eighteen.

He spent two years aboard DS Europa as AEO, very often having to step in as Acting Chief when CEO Elch was tending to his duties in the Q continuum. Donzall's mother passed away from an as of yet unknown neural illness called Newland's Disease, aptly named after his mother who was the first to succomb to said illness. Patrick was torn by her death, but due to the Federation's state of war with the Romulans at the time, couldn't even attend her funeral. To make matters worse, his Academy roomie and best friend Mark Benton, serving under Donzall's father's best friend Captain Carey DeVere, was killed when a Romulan Bird of Prey attacked the Galaxy class USS Valley.
In 2376 John considered applying to Starfleet Academy to explore space and use his brilliant mind for the greater good, but was pressured by his family to attend university and then decide what he wanted to do for a career. Accepting this he applied and was subsequently accepted into Oxford University in England on Earth where he studied Economics and Politics and within three years had graduated with a double first class degree. It was here at university that John really developed his passion for the sport of Fencing and won the 3rd place seed in the country before training with the England team and competing in several prestigious events across the Federation. He also met his first love at university, a natural sciences student by the name of Lauren Mitchell. The two were together for two years out of the three they attended Oxford University and then tragically Lauren was killed by a neo-Terra Prime group who mistook her for a Trill. Distraught by this tragic event John confirms his ideas to join Starfleet as a way to perhaps seek justice for his lost love.

On stardate 240109.10 Donzall was caught in an accident with an experimental Dimensional Shift Transporter. He returned to the station four months later. Phasing in and out of our galaxy and the M64 Galaxy where he was apparently transported during the accident. At one moment science officer William Valcor had reconfigured the repaired DST's to such an extent that he could lock on to Donzall's signature and pull him back to our galaxy. His memory of the time in the M64 quadrant was blurry to say the least. He remembered serving aboard a Starfleet vessel in the capacity of StratOps officer, but not much else. Later, after the ship returned into the Milky Way galaxy, the logs of the USS Anderson-A revealed Patrick Donzall had served aboard that ship as her Strategic Operations officer.
At the age of twenty-one John applied, and was accepted, into Starfleet Academy to begin his career as a Starfleet Officer. On arriving at the Academy John was housed in the Green Wing of the Campus along with three other cadets in a shared house. He shared the house with Samuel Harris an aspiring Security Officer, Bollix an Engineer orientated Cadet and Jane Seymour whose interest lay firmly in Science. Samuel and John gelled almost immediately as they were both keen fencers, often seen putting on a display for the other cadets outside their building. Bollix was also an avid fan of John’s father, the intrepid businessman. The household was a friendly one full of Cadets destined to go far with their careers. All of them finishing every mock and final exam in the top quarter. In the First Year at the Academy John and his three friends all took the same basic training courses which all potential officers must pass to get onto the second year of training.

After his return, he first resumed his duties as AEO and Tactical Systems Mission Specialist on the station. Not long after that, he was transferred to the post of Strategic Operations Officer and served there until the XO at the time, Cmdr Sonrisa Forrester, had to resign due to undisclosed personal reasons. He was asked to take the post of XO and soon became CO, due to Captain Kang's disappearance.
The modules were:
* Federation History
* Starfleet History
* Federation Law including General Orders
* Federation Cultures
* Star Ship Engineering
* Basic Science
* Basic Astronomy
* Basic Weapons Training
* Basic Flight Training
* Physical Training

The crew of Deep Space Europa wound up discovering a previously completely unknown species in the direct area of the station. The species, calling themselves Anarchs, exhibited very xenophobic traits and following several incidents, the Anarch hostilities started to become an actual war threat for the sector.
After this basic year John, along with his friends had to choose the specialisation that they wanted a career in and complete five core modules then five option specific modules to the specialisation of their choice.

Much to the dismay of his crew, Starfleet Command was forced to asked now Commander Donzall to resign his command in favour of a more experienced Captain DeVere (daughter of his father's best friend, now Commodore Carey DeVere), after several more incidents concerning the Anarch war threat.
The core modules were:
* Advanced Science
* Advanced Astronomy
* Physical Training
* Borg and Non UFP Culture Studies
* Diplomacy Training

He spent some time as a guest Advanced Engineering teacher at Starfleet Academy while on Earth. When he heard DS Europa had 'disappeared' from their position, he and Admiral Carey DeVere took out the USS Valley to try and find the station. After three months, Command pulled back the Valley and Donzall continued his search with a small crew on a runabout. One month into his search, the runabout USS Marconi came under attack from several Anarch vessels in the area of space DS Europa had been. The newly commissioned USS Edinburgh came to the runabout's rescue, but all vessels in that direct area disappeared shortly after the Edinburgh reported to have arrived at the scene. No signs of either vessel were received by Starfleet until the establishment of two way communication with the Alphacentious Galaxy.
The Intelligence Stream module options were:
*Gathering Intelligence: From Start to End
* Intelligence Analysis: A Complete Methodology
* Advanced Federation Law
* Advanced Combat Training
* Understanding Undercover Operations

Six months after his disappearance Commander Donzall ‘fell’ out of thin air on a Starfleet temporal research compound. Strangely enough he had been helping a scientist in the Alpha Centious galaxy build a working dimensional shift transporter. His re-appearance caused Starfleet to hold the commander for further investigation into the circumstances of his appearance and disappearance. After 4 months he was re-released to active duty and took on an ad-interim position as Executive Officer on the Starbase known as Aurora.
While in his second year John also took a number of extra modules that would give him marks in the top 1% guaranteeing him a place on the elite Red Squadron Academy Training Program. The three extra modules he took were:

After he was relieved from the ad interim position, he was asked by Starfleet to return to Earth and participate in a project for the Advanced Engineering Development Department. With the project done and a colony in the Gamma quadrant in need of a Chief Engineer, after a short shore leave, Commander Donzall packed a duffel bag, hopped a transportation vessel and travelled to Xonnel. Not long after arrival there, Xonnel Colony was returned to Civilian government and the Starfleet presence was moved to the newly constructed starbase 204 several light years away, called Zetari Station.
* Advanced Intelligence Gathering and Forensic Analysis
* HALO / LALO and Zero G Reconnaissance and Combat
* Advanced Intelligence Studies

Following the murder of Colonel Robert McQueen, Donzall was left as the most senior officer on the station. Rear Admiral Trael Bren asked him to take the position of XO to prevent a vaccuum. Donzall was given a field promotion to Captain, in order to serve under a Rear Admiral.
In the third and fourth year John was nominated as Red Squadron Leader by the programs Directors – in this role he was able to spend his third year learning in more depth and with more practical sessions the way in which command worked in the field. Given command of a Sabre Class vessel, the USS Valiant-G, and with a crew comprised of Red Squadron Cadets and mentored by Commander Richard Jackson – one of the Red Squadron Program Deputy Directors. While on this program he continued to develop Intelligence, Command and Tactics skills leading to his graduation at the later age of twenty-five.

When Bren was reassigned during a Starfleet senior staff reshuffle, he took command of the station as ranking officer. Lieutenant Commander Julianna Kaye took the position of XO on the command team with Donzall. His field promotion was overturned upon the surprising but deserved appointment of Julianna Kaye as commanding officer of Starbase 204. He resumed his duties as Executive officer with the rank of commander, happily serving under the woman he was dating.
On completing the Academy John was accepted into the Starfleet Special Forces Intelligence division and was assigned as an Intelligence Officer on the Akira Class USS Incursion NCC-56473 A (SSF). During his time here he excelled in his work and was nominated by Captain Koran to attend the Advanced Intelligence School at Starbase Bragg where on completion he was reassigned to the USS Incursion as a Lieutenant Commander and acted as the Chief Intelligence Officer. On one particular mission John found himself analysing data that gave evidence for the prosecution and capture of an Andorian politician who had been selling arms to the Breen. This investigative mission’s success resulted in Johns transfer to the Starfleet Intelligence Agency where he was promoted to Commander and instructed to run a newly formed department specifically tasked with investigating political corruption and apprehending those involved. It was also during this time that John made several key political connections which he continues to use in his new life as businessman.

During the Zybor assault on the station at the beginning of 2407, Donzall was on a reconnaissance mission on the USS Mjolnir where he was abducted by the android race. After a while, Starfleet even declared him MIA, presumably dead.
During this assignment John was approached by a mysterious figure who called himself Cole, the dark-haired shadowy figure took John to a local café and explained that Starfleet Intelligence was not the ultimate authority of Intelligence in the galaxy and that there were some, a select few, who did whatever was necessary for the greater good. Upon learning about Section 31 – the covert black-ops group tasked with defending the Federation by any means possible – John didn’t quite know how to take in and process the information. On the one hand it seemed like a natural career change, but on the other hand he had moral objections to the work they carried out. Cole eventually convinced him that he was made for Section 31; he was similar yet unique to every other agent in the organisation. Accepting the switch in career path John continued to run his department in Starfleet Intelligence and reported all information that was pertinent to Cole directly. In 2394 John takes a Leave of Absence from Starfleet life and uses the time to undertake the rigorous and stressful Section 31 training program. Eventually passing this, and the initiation he emerged as an Agent of the shadow organisation. His first assignment however was to continue what he had been doing prior to training.

6 months after his disappearance he showed up in Montana at the Kaye family home on the North American continent on Earth in the Sol System. He had aged approximately 28 years in his life, although in this reality only 6 months had gone by.
In 2400 John resigns from Starfleet due to the death of his father and returns to England to mourn the family loss and enforce the trust that his father had made leaving him the business. Accepting his new role as Chief Executive Officer of the Carrington Institute John learned as much as possible from Company Director Sam Clayton and in his new position could put pressure on his political contacts to buy the TCI security systems which rocketed the business to be ranked number two in the Quadrants richest businesses. Just two years later John’s mother died and he inherits Carrington Manor and is the last bearer of the prestigious surname. John is faced again by Cole who appears in his office on Earth and arranges a new deal with the businessman. Section technology would be placed inside the software and act completely covertly gathering intelligence for Section 31, John would also have to take on some other assignments when they came up. He was also promoted to the rate of Senior Agent.

After having been captured by the Zybor, the Phi unit that had been interrogating him malfunctioned and allowed him to escape. Unfortunately for Donzall, the only way out of where he was, was some sort of dimensional portal that he ran into by accident.
In 2406 John was presented with an Order of the British Empire honour for his continued service to business developments and security issues and just one year later he was made a Knight Bachelor for his charity work and service to the world of commerce. It was in 2408 that Section 31 reappeared to him personally, asking him to move to Astate Colony as one of the Director's on the Board. To complete this move Sir John made a controversial, yet popular decision and relocated the Head Office to Carnies, the biggest city on the colony.

Finding himself on a planet called Seq.Oria in another dimension, he frantically searched for ways to reproduce the portal. The Jacen people he was 'adopted' by, who had been driven to the edge of extinction by Zybor assaults, were brilliant scientists and helped him achieve that goal.

For 28 years he had been traveling through dimensional and temporal portals trying to find his way back to his own time and dimension and back to Julianna.

Unfortunately he only had 47 hours to stay in that dimension until an implanted device of Jacen design called a las.hir that allowed him to travel this way would ‘suck’ him back into a portal. During those 47 hours he and Julianna inadvertently entered into a B'Kar.

Donzall returned to Seq.Oria where he had the responsibility of 'leading' one of the Jacen resistance cells against the Zybor while the Jacen helped him find a way to return to his own dimension permanently.

While on a resistance mission, he accidentally discovered that there was a group of Zybor calling themselves The Cluster that were rebelling against their establishment.

The Cluster asked for Donzall and the Jacen's help. He ended up leading a contingent of Jacen and 'renegade' Zybor back to his own dimension through portals created with the help of Cluster Zybor scientists, where they destroyed the head of the Zybor called Iota Prime, severely destabilizing and crippeling the Zybor in the Gamma Quadrant.

Moments before Zetari's marine and security forces succeeded in blowing up Iota Prima, Donzall had an encounter with Iota Prime's 'firewall' Beta One. This autonomous computer program inexplicably and for unknown reasons, removed Donzall's las.hir. After the las.hir had been removed, Donzall's molecular structure started to go back to normal and he effectively de-aged to the physical age he has in this dimension.

Not much later, a Starfleet admiral called Emmer, whom has an intense dislike for Donzall for as of yet unknown reasons, decided he was too happy. The man pulled strings and Donzall was informed he was needed elsewhere. So now, the place he called home and woman he had fought so hard and long for to be with had to be left behind.

After a short interlude on Earth, Donzall was informed that he would be taking the position of Chief Engineering Officer on Astate Colony in the Beta Quadrant.

*During same attack and in the same fall bruised his right upper-arm, was treated
*Was inadvertently transported to the M64 galaxy on SD 240109.10 and returned to this galaxy four months later. No apparent physical harm resulting of this. Mentally Donzall suffered a slight memory loss from the period of his disappearance to the point of his return. Psychological therapy is underway.
*A neurological device of undetermined design was removed from his left lobe. The device was planted there without physical signs of surgery while in captivity by his Anarch captors. This neurological device somehow stimulated his dorment B'Kar brainfunctions to emerge and become active. He is now therefore an active empath and telepath.
*Was transported through a portal to another galaxy and returned 6 months later, showing signs of elevated chroniton particles and moleculair instability. His molecular structure was stabilized and the chroniton radiation dissipated naturally.
