Christoper Morgan was born on SD237406.16 in Toronto, Earth, where his family has lived for generations. Unfortunately, he was the son of two university professors, which meant that he rarely saw his parents. Both being astro-mineralogists, they were often away on prolonged deep-space missions conducting scientific research. So Christopher and his sister, Jennifer, spent a lot of time under the guardianship of his aunt, and while Christopher of course loved her, he always longed for the company of his parents, and the few memories he did have with his parents he cherished closely. However, disaster struck on SD238411.07, when Christopher was ten years old. Christopher's parents were on a research mission in the Altani sector when their ship accidently caused an uncharted Borg trans-warp conduit to open. This is what Federation investigators assumed happened, at least, based on the ship's flight itinerary and strong quantum delta-band radiation found in the area that was at a frequency known to be associated with Borg vessels. Sadly, investigators were not able to locate the Morgans or their ship, so it is unknown if the Morgans traveled through the Borg conduit to another part of the galaxy, were killed, or, even worse, assimilated by the Borg. Although traumatizing, Christopher seemed by all outward appearances to have coped well, given the tragic circumstances. But, inside, Christopher was broken. His grief became so overwhelming to the point that Christopher finally resolved to bury it deep in the recesses of his mind along with a bitter hatred for the Borg. He was determined to go on with his life as best he could without being scarred by the incident, and, for the most part, he was successful. Much of his ability to cope came from the support of Jennifer, and, to this day, she remains to be one of the most esteemed and influential people in Christopher's life.
The remainder of Christopher's childhood and adolescence can be considered nothing less than happy. While it cannot be said that Christopher was the most popular among his peers, he was well liked by all, and he got along fine in high school. Christopher seemed to attract friends by his sympathetic personality, and most people felt he really understood them. Despite being socially well-adjusted, Christopher valued his personal time. He would often spend time alone walking through nature, looking up at the stars and probably wondering if his parents were out there. Space always fascinated Christopher, and if not for his parents, then for his curious and exploratory nature, he wanted to be out there. | The remainder of Christopher's childhood and adolescence can be considered nothing less than happy. He feels he has an obligation to resolve conflict, even if it's in his best interest to stay out of things. While socially-adept, Christopher enjoys his personal time and private space. He has clear boundaries that allow him to create personal bonds but without letting people become too close to him. This way he has a feeling of control over his emotions. His careful guarding of his private self may contribute to why he is not married. It may also be a way to conceal or ignore painful and unresolved conflicts from his past. He also practices Vulcan meditation, which centers him and gives him clarity and quick insights throughout the day.
