"Jewel Three": Difference between revisions

Designation for the Squadron of Interceptors based on Arandel.

The name is derived from Betazed's name "Jewel of the Outer Crown", however the Squadron has since been nick-named "Calamity One".

Jewel Three gained fame on Betazed for being even more unorthodox than the already informal rest of the planet's defense forces. Partly this is due to the mix of species which made up the Squadron, partly to their actions which include - but are by no means limited to - irritating Starfleet on a regular basis and disrupting Betazed's Trade Conference.
