SD 2392??.?? When D'Vana was 4 years old her mother Kahlestal died while defending a Klingon colony from a Romulan raid. With no relatives on her mothers side to take her in she had been sent to her father Kevin Samuel Xavier who hadn't known of her existants until he had opened the door and found her standing there with a Klingon escort who had handed her father both her birth certificate and a letter from Kahlestal in the event of her death...

As D'Vana grew older she met more of her family on her father's side. Finding out that not only did she have an Aunt, but she had three cousins as well. Though she became more attached to David Kyle Alexander Xavier, whom she had later learned was actually 3 years younger then her.

D'Vana grew to love the family who hadn't known of her existants. She and David would often go rock climbing, whenever they were together. If she and her father went to England to visit she and david would go rock climbing in the Peak District.

D'Vana managed to get her father to talk often of how he had met her mother. It was the only link she had of actually talking about her mother and keeping that memory alive in her mind. Though her mother's death was an honorable one, D'Vana sometimes missed her and blamed that weakness on her human blood. Though she cared for her father, she often wondered if the human traites were something she should be proud of or something she should try to get passed...

SD 240105.30 when D'Vana was 16, She and her cousin David joined Starfleet Academy together. She wanted to become a security officer, She wanted to help protect others as her mom had done to protect the colony.
