The Battle of Humbraine was one of the most decisive battles in the course of the Dark Wars, a series of wars that lasted over a hundred years on and off. This battle also marked the begining of a new Vree/Kree war, the last one for almost 400 years and saw the Vree Republic resume an isolationist stance.

Following the Battle of the Black Nebula where the majority of the would be defensive fleet of Humbraine destroyed by a sneak Vree attack. The path to Humbraine was clear, allowing the Imperial Loyalist factions to attack Humbraine in a devestating bombardment.

Following the battle, Miranda Valeria defected to the Assembly Coalition and for the remaining four years of the war she helped the Assembly with the final campaign of the war, ending with the Battle of Kivu Kaan.
