History

The only son of the Merikai family, Alistair inherits his father's company at a young age following his father's disgrace and trial by Federation officials. Arrested on charges of selling classified weapons technology to the Breen, Julius Merikai and the NeoDyne Defense Corporation are accused of treason and other high crimes.

Following his father's death in a shuttle accident while en route to sentencing for his crimes, Alistair assumes full control of the NeoDyne Corporation as its chairman, president, and chief executive officer. Later, upon learning of his father's ambitions and goals, Alistair adopts them as his own ruthlessly pursuing them in a bid to restore honor to the Merikai family, and ensure NeoDyne becomes the galaxy's most powerful and feared corporation.

Discovering his father's hidden diary and files, Alistair learns of a secret NeoDyne program to secure two genetically altered human twins who possess remarkable abilities and vital genetic information. Restarting his father's secret program, Alistair intends to locate the Ramius twins and use the genetic information locked within their bodies to meet his own sinister ends as he seeks to ensure NeoDyne becomes the galaxy's most powerful body.
