Which also led to her blackmailing Jacinto; she was quickly promoted to senior chief petty officer and a lovely house on Betazed. But the higher ups in the Diplomatic Corps caught wind of it and quickly demoted Jacinto to a desk officer with one duty and that was filing paper work and keeping track of meeting notes. | |||
This was where it got ugly for for Chloe and Pegira, Jacinto was never physically abusive towards them but he blamed them for everything that happened to him. Which also led to him drinking heavily and finally being dishonorably discharged from Starfleet and the diplomatic corps. Leaving Pegira to raise her child and provide for them along with dealing with the demands of his mistress. This also put a toll on Pegira quickly destroying her relationship with her daughter. So when she turned 15 she ran away from both her damaged parents and somehow ended up befriending a Starfleet engineer by the name of Herschel Hohstadt, the chief engineer of the USS Heimdall a retrofitted Tuffli freighter. | |||
