Biography

Paul Stafford was the oldest son of Laura and Michael Stafford. His parents were career Starfleet officers, with Laura Stafford being a medical officer and Michael Stafford working through tne ranks in Security.

Growing up with Starfleet parents and educated in the Federation school system, service in Starfleet was almost inevitable from the time Paul began his secondary education.

In the academy, Paul excelled at mathematics and science and, upon graduating from the Academy, was accepted to Starfleet's Medical school. After completing that program, he was licensed to practice medicine in the Federation. His first post was as an assistant medical officer on the USS Titan. As a doctor, he is a general practioner, but maintains a particular specialty in xenoepidemiology, the diagnosis and treatment of alien diseases and disorders.

While Paul is relatively shy among others, he maintains a strong family bond. His mother and father current serve as Chief Medical Officer and Executive Officer of the USS Serenity. His younger brother, the middle child, is a second year student at Starfleet Academy with aspirations of becoming a security officer. His youngest sibling, his sister, is aboard the USS Serenity with her parents and is still undecided about whether to seek Academy admission.
