After some turbulent times with 'bloody space-elves' the Commander took some well deserved leave and ended up getting married for the fourth time. A brief stint teaching at the Academy convinced him that he isn't cut out for planet-life after all and he applied for the next best ship available (this undue haste has nothing to do with his now 4th ex-wife living in San Francisco.
