JoJo Lafleur's pet since childhood, Kharn originally owes his name to being a Rigellian Parrot, an unusually long-lived species, and the fact that just about the only thing JoJo remembers about her life before the orphanage is pulling at a huge Klingon's beard while he was telling her stories.

Kharn has since lived up to his illustrous name by having learned to curse in 27 languages, and chasing anything from cats to full grown targs up the nearest tree. Only slightly smaller than an average Terran turkey, Kharn has a wingspan nearly rivaling that of a Romulan mogai but he seems to prefer a pedestrian lifestyle (according to JoJo however he is simply 'too fat to fly').

Kharn's greatest weakness is cheesecake.
