The Norsh were non-humanoid species (similar to arachnids and they were two feet tall) which destroyed their own planet with polutants and attempted escape only to realize that they were running out of resources. They discovered a moon orbiting a gas giant, the moon was called Lilaning. There were a different kind of resources there. they could not live as biological organisms, but they could create technological bodies for which to transfer their consciousness into. When they contacted humanoid lifeforms they constructed humanoid technological bodies (androids) in order to communicate with them.
Taru was constructed as a host body for a Norsh named Trilava. The strange sensation of being given consciousness only to be imprisoned in the back of her own mind and watch another controll her body was both painfull and fascinating.
When an energy pulse was released into the atmosphere to which all of her kind were exposed, it caused the Norsh inhabiting them to leave and free the living beings inside. The pulse was a result of the action of an android, Toren, who had already been exposed to it. The unity of so many that were now finally free was very pleasant. Taru worked on Lilaning Headquarters as a science officer. she was seven years of age chronologically
When a pirate race invaded headquarters, Taru concluded that the only way to be rid of them was to constrict them on to one deck and then flood it with radiation. Unfortunately the levels of radiation she would have to use would be dangerous for her, she had to transport out of that deck, as the only android on that deck, she used their transport system which was malfunctioning and could not be set to any specific coordinates, in fact it was changing by the second. So she just left to an unknown place which as she found out was a different galaxy and she had no way of getting home. Since her decision was between survival or location, it would have been the same, had she known the outcome. she was fourteen years of age chronologically.
Taru then began to investigate this new galaxy and to try to make herself at home.

Her mouth has the same fair skinned and unnaturally even pigmentation as the rest of her face.
In her cranial section is located what she calls a 'Koneys Crystal', a stone which formed on Lilaning. It is used to modify energy and create energy patterns. A virtually indestructible crystal which only takes damage from the energy flow pattern generated in order for Taru to be conscious. Dormant, it can last forever. However, being used in this way, it can last approximately 275 years. It cannot be replaced. If it is removed, it will no longer be supporting the energy beams incorporated in her cranial section and her neural net would collapse.
There is a life form, which originated on Lilaning, which circulates like a fluid through her where it thrives and reproduces, supplying her with unending energy. This Life form is called 'Kwala', all it requires is a liquid mineral injection into the lower back or the cranial access point at least every 72 hours, this mineral injection can be easily replicated. If she fails to take this injection, The 'Kwala' will starve to death and she will be forced into reserve energy ,although this reserve is charged by the 'Kwala' it can only last about 17 minutes after the 'Kwala' is gone. After reserve energy is gone, she would power down and she would stay in that state unless supplied with more 'Kwala' or an alternate source of energy.
there are two pressure points in order to access important circuitry. The first is at the center and back of her neck, if pressed, the scalp of her head can be easily removed. The second is at a specific vertebrae on the lower back to remove the skin of the lower back.
at her navel, there is another pressure point. When pressed, a skin colored cover moves back and under the skin. underneath it are six small buttons arranged in two parallel lines: a yellow button, a white button, a red button, a blue button, a green button, and a silver button. If the yellow button is pressed, then the 'Kwala' will be pulled up into her upper body and restricted there (her lower body will have approximately 17 minutes of reserve energy before it will become useless). The red button can only be pressed if the yellow button has already been pressed, what the red button does is release the rest of system controls and connections of the lower body from the upper body (the lower body detaches about an inch below the navel). The blue button is used to re-attach the lower body to the upper body or to attach the upper body to compatible computer system (this was in Lilaning Headquarters and does not apply in this galaxy). The white button requires that the upper body is attached to a compatible android lower body void of leakage, in this case it will restore 'Kwala' flow and energy distribution. The green button summons the skin colored cover back into place. The silver button should be pressed directly before the red one, it opens access points located on the underside of the knees and under the medial malleolus of the ankles. Each of these points contains three buttons: a red button to detach, a blue button to reattach, and a green button to summon the skin colored covers back into place.
A similar pressure point is located at the Glabella. when pressed, the skin colored cover pulls up showing an upsidown triangle shape with a pattern of buttons in the shape of a 'T'. There are a total of eight buttons in the following colors: yellow, white, red, blue, green, purple, black, and silver. Similar to the point at her navel the yellow button seperates the 'Kwala' into two different sections (some into the head and some into the upper body); the white button will restore the 'Kwala' flow and energy distribution; the red button will detach the head and neck from the collar bone and upper body; the blue button with reattach the head and neck to the collar bone and upper body; the green button will summon the skin colored cover back into place; and the silver button will open access points on the inner elbow, the underarm, and on the inside of the wrist (which consist of the same three buttons as the lower body access points). The last two buttons, the purple and black, serve a different purpose; they were used in some maintenance techniques on Lilaning. The black button disables motor functions, lowering energy consumption and risk if there is an injury. The purple button can only be pressed if the black button is in use, it lowers energy consumptions and risk further by ceasing the damaging effects of the 'Koneys Crystal' but continuing those neccessary to maintain stability of the neural net, causing unconsciousness. Pushing the balck or purple buttons again would cause the reverse effect than the first time: purple causing consciousness, black only being able to be pressed after purple and then enabling motor functions.
