Ch'Dabhae was the home of thousands of Romulan dissidents known as 'reunificationists.' Seeing them as a threat the Romulan Imperial Senate ordered them exiled. Over two hundred thousand Romulans lived on Ch'Dabhae, however, during research by NeoDyne into their Memento Mori Bioweapon several thousand would die. The survivors were routinely kidnapped from smaller fringe villages and used by NeoDyne researchers as unwilling test subjects. On 240911.19 the population would eradicated by atmospheric dispersion of the Memento Mori.
About the Planet
Dabhae is a class M planet with a moderate climate. The exiled Romulans found the planet stable even for being so close to the Yy'a Nebula. Before the NeoDyne purges they had successfully built themselves a new agrarian society.
