Biography
Aerv was born on her family's modest estate in the Rhynne River Valley, one of the most beautiful and fruitful regions of ch'Rihan. Her mother (Rhiana ir-Rhynne t'Jaihen) was a career Galae officer and frequently away for months at a time, but Aerv was a member of a large, close Rihannsu family and enjoyed an idyllic childhood. Her father (Fveirrolh i-Ra'tleihfi tr'Aime) spent his own early life in the Capital Ra'tleihfi and his subsequent Kiith Mrevhoqq'ghi (Diplomatic Service) career in other cities and starbases, he found it stifling.
On joining the Jaihen Clan with his marriage to Rhiana, his love of the countryside blossomed and he shared it with his children. The highlight's of Aerv's memories are long summers by the sea, camping in the dunes; but her Father spent most of his time at home outdoors, in every season, running the estate by constantly travelling it, often with younger family members accompanying him. The other great influence on Aerv's early life was her Grandmother; Arrhae, a former Bird of Prey Captain and the embodiment of the family's Galae tradition.
It was this matriarch who oversaw Aerv's formal education and impressed on her the importance of using her abilities to aid the Empire. The disruptor pistol which Aerv commonly wears is a gift from her Grandmother: It appears to be a 23rd Century disruptor, but in fact it is an antique casing containing modern technology: A double power cell; an over-sized emitter; variable power settings and a beam-splitter.
After completing her in-house education and her compulsory five years of Serona military service, Aerv was unsure what career to pursue. Rather than embark on a Galae career for which – in spite of Grandmother's encouragement – she was probably not ready, she joined her father as a ne'Auethnen (Junior Advisor) in the Kiith Mrevhoqq'ghi. This enabled her to travel a great deal and gain valuable experience, but ultimately did not satisfy her. Aerv returned to military life, attending the Rhetor (Advanced Military College) on Devorren. It was here that her talent and enthusiasm for Tactical Operations was noticed and developed, which, along with her Kiith Mrevhoqq'ghi experience, was deemed to make her a suitable candidate for posting to the USS Charon.

Personality: Superficially quiet, almost shy, but smiles a lot for a Romulan and is often very relaxed off duty. On duty her turn-out is always immaculate.
