Savannah McCoy is the Chief Medical Officer aboard the USS Quantum Fury. Related to a famous Starfleet physician Savannah graduated at the top of her class at the Duke Medical School in Durham. After her graduation she joined Starfleet and received a commission to Ensign and an assignment aboard the USS Honokaa as Assistant Medical Officer.
By most counts Savannah McCoy is considered a medical genius, although she is noted as being a bit 'eccentric' by her former Chief. The Doctor is extremely opinionated and very blunt at times. However, she puts the care of her patients above anything else.
