Home of Charon's Chief Engineer, Landon Neyes. This world is a lush paradise that attracts colonists and travelers alike. The thriving tourist economy on Cesparia allows for a rapid growth of both domestic and interstellar industrial businesses, and as a result the planet's financial infrastructure is solid and seemingly unfailing. For this very reason, Ferengi in the area have made it their goal to seize control of all public and private business opportunities on the entire planet. Since the colony's founding in 2350, there have been a great deal of Ferengi living amongst the Trill and Human settlers.
Politically and officially, the world falls under Federation jurisdiction, but is regulated and operated from within the Trillian government for colonies of this type. The entire planet's fair trade and work force programs ensure that there are no ill-treated employees or overly large businesses running within the confines of the planet's domestic area. That said, the Ferengi presence has made the business world a cutthroat and sometimes dangerous one on Cesparia. Non-domestic corporations are allowed to establish a permanent local presence, however, which further appeals to the Ferengi business model.
Because of traffic demands moving in and out of the planet's atmosphere and outlying areas, the local parsec of space is regulated by an automated computer station. This station communicates with vessels entering the system, catalogs them and directs them to their destination using a complicated organizational algorithm. In lieu of traditional fleet protection, the Trill sections alliance decided that autonomous defensive satellites would be sufficient for protection of the planet. Together, the sensor net and the satellites constantly monitor the entire system.
