Kulg'Rek la', son of Ka'Vrak

Kulg'Rek is the leader of the Klingon survivors of the IKS Tabor found stranded on the planet PDC11J.

  • After his arrival on the Charon he engaged in a duel with Commodore Rehu and lost. After his defeat he complimented the commodore and felt some respect towards the Romulan woman.
  • Learning about a security situation on the Charon he offered his men to assist the Charon with security.

From day one, the unexpected guests managed to make life on board even more interesting - be it impromtu Volleyball matches that result in a destroyed gym (again) after the Klingon bafflement turned to enthusiasm, be it equally eager efforts to assist the marines in producing potent alcoholic beverages or the valiant defense of engineering during an effort by Romulan troops to board Charon (by now, every engineer knows the difference between annoyed growls and battle readiness - the latter means one should scramble immediately and let the big guys and gals pass).

Being from a rather different period in time, Kulg'Rek and his overbearing band have not adjusted to life among 'Fleeters' and most of all the despised Romulans without rough patches - in true Klingon fashion those patches were rough indeed, keeping sickbay on their toes and giving surgeons due cause to brush up on Vulcanoid physiology - but after a turbulent year it has become difficult for even the most ardent opponents of keeping the happy bloodwine gurgling bunch on board to imagine life without them.
