Biography

Brent began practicing and working out everyday with his classmates and began to almost train early. He still enjoyed a normal life of cutting high school classes, dating girls, and crashing the family hovercar at 16.

Brent is very soft spoken for a man of his strength and physical prowess. He prefers to remain silent but can speak very loudly and forcefully, he just prefers not to. A lot of his Platoon mates at Boot refered to him as the "Gentle Giant."

Brent felt that Boot Camp itself would be a walk in the park compared to what he had endured on his home planet. The gravity differances would make walking around and running and drills at Boot extremly easy... Until he ran across Senior Drill Instructor Price. DI Price was a fellow Gilagamite and knew exactly what the young Warren was capable of doing. As a result Price forced the young recruit to wear his gravity belt at all times during Boot Camp.

Despite initally hating DI Price's guts, Warren eventually took a shine to the Drill Instructor and the two of them eventually forged a begruding friendship. At the end Warren was recommended for Heavy Weapon's School by Price... One of the hardest schools to get into in the Corps.

Medical History

"One of the best examples of a fit Marine fresh out of boot." Is one of the many glowing reports the young Brent recieved after he left Boot Camp.

He wears the gravity belt on him at all times, even though when he goes out on missions he deactivates it to give him a supernatural edge in terms of strength and speed. The recruit sleeps with it on and exercises with it to help maintain his level of fitness and supernatural strength.

Other Notes

Note: Character's race is not my design. The idea for the Gilgamesh humans were the idea of Major General Jeremy Ironside. All of this is his writing not mine.

As part of Earth's early exploration and colonization efforts, numerous DY-210 warp sleeper vessels were sent out to locate and colonize various planets outside of Earth's sphere of influence. One such freighter arrived in the Gilgamesh system in 2072 with the intent of colonizing the eighth planet in the system. However, a navigational computer malfunction instead brought the ship into orbit around the much larger and denser ninth planet. Before the crew was fully awake and realized what had happened, the ship's landing sequence had begun.

The crew was unable to compensate for the much higher than predicted gravity of the planet and the ship landed very roughly. Unable to lift off again, and with their communication equipment damaged, the colonists were forced to set up their colony in the much, much higher gravity of Gilgamesh Nine. Only the most physically fit colonists could barely function in the extremely high gravity, and the majority of the colony died as a result. Those who survived, however, were able to get a self-sustaining colony constructed.

The colony, because it was never able to communicate its somewhat successful landing on the ninth planet, was largely forgotten for more than 100 years. It wasn't until 2312 that the colony was rediscovered when a colony-ship bound for the eight planet received a weak subspace message from the Gilgamesh Nine colony. Slowly, the colony was integrated into the Federation.

Over the years, the colonists had adapted to the intense gravity. Their muscles had become ultra dense in order to facilitate functioning normal to that found on 1g planets. This gave the colonists superhuman strength (although somewhat clumsy, initially) off of their own planet. This made the planet a gold mine for the Starfleet Marine Corps.
