Starfleet maintains the second largest military presence on Astate. However, Federation citizens now dominate the Colony’s population by a small margin. The Starfleet Presence consists of Security Personnel, Medical Personnel, Scientist, Engineers and Command Personnel. The Romulan Star maintains the largest military presence on Ahuian (Astate). However, Romulan citizens now a minority of Colony’s population but only by small margin. The Romulan Presence consists mostly of Gai'Shian Soldiers, Navy Security Personnel, and Command Personnel. There are a small number of Tal'Shiar on the Colony Also.
