Biography
Nniol tr’Rehu is brash, eccentric, and overflowing with confidence. With an undeniable rebellious streak, he has a reputation for pushing limits—sometimes too far. He spent his early years aboard the USS Charon under the watchful eyes of his godparents, Sakarra Tyrax and Brent Warren, while his mother, Shiarrael t’Rehu, commanded the ship.
His godmother’s love of flying left a lasting impression on him. Whenever he visited Vulcan as a child, he eagerly learned to pilot a variety of land craft, mastering them with a natural ease. On Romulus, he spent time at the Rehu estate in Nn’Verih, much to the frustration of the estate’s servants—his favorite pastime involved racing flitters across the grounds, leaving a trail of chaos in his wake.
Romulan War College
An incredible pilot but a troublesome student—this was how most instructors described Nniol at the Imperial War College. His skills in the cockpit were undeniable, but his attitude often landed him in hot water. Many believed the only reason he wasn’t expelled was due to his mother’s position as Galae’EnRiov.
Though Shiarrael never personally intervened, she left his discipline in the hands of the War College commander, H’Daen tr’Tomalak, who was more than willing to break Nniol’s rebellious spirit. One infamous story claims that Nniol was forced to polish the entire War College campus—twice—using nothing but a hand brush. Whether the tale is exaggerated or not, one thing is certain: after H’Daen’s intervention, Nniol began to temper his wild nature, becoming (mostly) more professional.
Service aboard the IRW Shianev (Javelin)
Graduating from the War College with a specialization in piloting—along with expertise in atmospheric and deep-space combat—Nniol was assigned to the IRW Shianev. However, his time aboard the Shianev was marked by constant tension. His insubordination frustrated his superiors, yet many hesitated to reprimand him too harshly for fear of drawing the wrath of his powerful mother.
Eventually, the crew found a solution: promote him and send him elsewhere. Eager to rid themselves of their problem child, they arranged his transfer to the IRW Aylhr, where a more structured command awaited him.
